FSR Database
A centralized information system for Field Service Representatives, with Outlook sync, assignment history, and custom reporting.
The FSR Database was my first major product for my current employer, designed to centralize information management for Field Service Representatives in the Field Organization. The system emphasized accessibility and required FSRs to log in every 120 days, which significantly reduced administrative burden on managers.
Key features included Outlook synchronization that automatically updated manager Blackberries when FSRs modified their records from field locations around the world — managers no longer had to chase down current contact information for their teams.
The database also provided customizable reporting, letting managers apply specific filter criteria to generate precisely tailored reports. Assignment history tracking made it possible to produce reports showing each FSR’s location history and experience over their tenure.
It’s gone through several revisions over the years and I’ve added many features as needs evolved.
